Treated myself to a nice late lunch for one. Ordered the pork chop with caramelized onions and mushrooms and the silky mashed potatoes. Finished off with their butter cake. Sat in the lounge soaking in atmosphere enjoying my little lunch for one. Oh! My server was amazing! Missed her name but she was amazing.

Glad we made reservations for 10 am Sunday brunch. Place got packed rather quickly. I never thought if this place for breakfast but man oh man it was a fantastic meal. Awesome service and we loved the ambiance.

Never a bad meal here! The wait is always worth it, and is often shorter than they say it'll be. Highly recommend trying a bit of everything on the menu, everything they make is excellent and the portions are very generous. Take leftovers to save toom for dessert - a warm butter cake or brownie a la mode with a coffee is a great way to end the evening. Seasonal cocktails are always refreshing and imaginative, while still being reasonably priced.

One of the best restaurants left in the peninsula that caters to great service, food and drinks .you can't go wrong with anything on the menu starting with the appetizers are very savory to start off your entrée to the dessert menu just to finish with a smile. The aricini and the meatball calamari appetizers is a good start. Also the soft butter cake is one of the go to desserts you should order. Don't forget about service the waiters offer. Its like dinning out in a old school restaurant where everybody is very attentive to you. Great place to celebrate anything or just a casual place to impress guest.

I went in for a Joe's charcoal broiled hamburger and I saw in order of turkey being delivered. . and I said I've got to have that turkey. It was absolutely delicious and the gravy made the dish. I sat at the counter and watched the cooks, saw other burgers being prepared...I'll definitely be back!

Desserts were so good. Everything here is perfectly made. Cooks in the back are hustling day in and day out. Service is always great and so's the food

I have never dined here before. I've been wanting to try it for months but can never make the reservations on time. My alternative was to order to go. *it does take a while for the food to be ready (waited 45 min for a to go order) *lively and loud - if you eat here it is very lively! All diners here seemed like they've been coming for years. Quite the family establishment. *no reservations at the bar area Food: I was hungry and had to make it home before hubz went to work. * lamb chops - seasoned and cooked to perfection! I'm sure it would have tasted better if we ate at the restaurant *side of mashed potatoes... but got creamed spinach instead. Creamed spinach was actually well made and not too heavy on the cream *spicy rigatoni w chicken- ok, wasn't too spicy. Wasn't my favorite.. it needed more seasoning *calamari- crispy, seasoned, and delicious Overall this was a busy place pushing out good food. I'd like to eat at the restaurant one day!

I've been wanting to try any of the Original Joe's and finally got the chance to. It's best to make reservations but we went around 4p and it was busy. We were told that the wait would be 45mins. We went to the bar to grab a drink while we waited. I know restaurants have been struggling with staffing but it took a long time for someone to get our order & then it took forever for us to get our drinks. I got notification that our table was ready but we were still waiting on our drinks. The good thing is that we didn't have to wait 45mins for our table, so that was nice; but they told us we would have to be done in 1.5hrs because there was a reservation that they needed that table. That was fine with us. They bring out sourdough bread and soft butter for you. I ordered the chicken Alfredo fettuccine and it was really tasty. The noodles could've been softer but it was still good. The lasagna was really tasty as well. I love my pastas with a lot of sauce and this place did it just right. Everything was very flavorful & the portions are pretty big. We ended taking half of our meals to go. Overall, the ambiance is lively and boisterous. The bar area had 4-5 big tv screens to catch the games. I would definitely come back.

Updating to add a few more commentaries, but maintaining the 4-star rating. SHIRLEY TEMPLE - Free refills, yo! CAESAR SALAD - A very generous portion! BLUE CAESAR - This is my regular salad here. Joe's does not skimp on the blue cheese. BEET SALAD - Good per DJ. SPICY RIGATONI with ADDED GRILLED CHICKEN - A new favourite of Z's due to its creamy deliciousness. CALAMARI STEAK DORÉ - The steak is tender and tasty. Even as a leftover, the calamari doesn't lose any amount of its scrumptiousness. JOE'S EGGPLANT PARMIGIANA - This is not your ordinary eggplant parmigiana. With its stacked layers, Joe's version is almost like a noodle-less lasagna. WARM CHOCOLATE BROWNIE a la MODE - A huge serving this is, big enough to share. The brownie is cakey. I wish that it had more chew, like the edges of homemade ones. Service still remains great. The atmosphere is still very retro cool. The bathrooms could receive more attention, though. At our last visit on the evening of Tuesday, June 25, 2024, I could smell the bathroom stench all the way from the foyer.

It was my first time here and my family brought me for a family dinner. I didn't realize how busy they got but luckily I was able to make a same day reservation less than 30 mins before our reservation time. I have passed this place countless of times as a kid but never once tried it. To start off, we had a Caesar salad & the spinach artichoke dip w/ crap which both were really good! The restaurant was really busy so our food took a little longer than expected for it to come out. But our server Grazy checked updated us regularly. The portions were huge and left you able to take some home. For dinner I got the Braised short rib w/ whipped potatoes. It was good and flavorful. My brother and dad got their favorite which was the spicy rigatoni w/ shrimp and chicken & my mom got the Joes Filet of sole which she loved as well. All the options were good and to finish it off, we got the Warm Butter Cake which was sooo good. Def would come here again!
